Today, on various online music outlets throughout San Francisco, we officially celebrate Headlights Day. 7x7 Magazine, The Owl Mag and SPINearth are honored to introduce the debut video accompanying the first single from Headlights' critically acclaimed latest effort, Wildlife, on their hometown label, Polyvinyl Records.

While the band have been gaining speed over the last few years with their ever-so-catchy melodies and animated live shows (they are known for inviting a swarm of fans to dance onstage during sets), their most recent endeavor reflects a more mature Headlights who are comfortable in their own element. The atmospheric Wildlife's first single, "Get Going" strips down and bares all, telling the story of the dearly departed. “It was a very difficult record,” relates guitarist and songwriter Tristan Wraight. “For the first time this is a significantly personal record for us, and for very real reasons like growing up and people dying that you love." Although Wildlife and more specifically "Get Going" explore the more unpleasant themes of life, these concepts are juxtaposed by the poppy and iridescent chorus and Wraight and Erin Fein's radiant harmonies.

So come take a walk with us through new landscapes in honor of Headlights' most accomplished record and enjoy the official video premiere for "Get Going."
